UV cured flooring advantages to the end user and contractor
A new frontier has been crossed with the introduction of UV curable floor coatings.
What's so special about UVFloorcure coatings you may ask!
There are many pluses to this process, the most obvious is speed of drying, this opens new applications to the floor finishing and refinishing industry. Most businesses cannot afford to close down for several days while their floors are refinished, yet the impression of their business and the health and welfare of their customers is extremely important, as a result many cover their floors with carpet or hardwearing vinyl tile both have to be maintained on a daily basis carpets need constant vacuuming and frequesnt cleaning vinylfloors (VCT) need daily damp mopping and frequent stripping and resealing then waxing the cost of this mantainance is not high but over a period its very expensive and time consuming. UV Floorcure in the hands of a proffessional tradesman can cut these costs dramatically a well decorated and UV overcoated floor can be more impressive than a dull dirty carpet and its easy to keep clean. Colors can be used, many concrete contractors can do exceptional work with stainig techniques that can then be protected with UV coatings. VCT can be lightly sanded with a high speed sander a removing the old finish and recoated with one of our specially designed coatings this will give you a wax free finish that will be really durable and show the original tile color with a deep gloss or a satin finish depending upon your choice.
Why should you use UV III/UVFloorcure coatings and equipment, many years ago one of the pioneers of the VCT floor, Armstrong Floors came to UV III Systems, Inc and asked us to build an industrial strength UV curing system for their new no wax flooring tile line that was being set up in California this gave us our first experience at UV curing VCT right in one of the top manufacturers factory.
Our equipment is designed and built by that same team, we sell factory direct to the contractor.

3-D Curing Systems
3D Curing SystemsUV curing was traditionally used in flat-line applications such as printing and flooring. UV III Systems, Inc. pioneered the notion that using a defocused lamp, without a specific focal point, it was possible to cure a finish on three-dimensional substrates. This was an exciting time in the UV curing industry, because suddenly manufacturers could cure an infinite number of products. The realization that UV was not just for printing any more became a reality.

What is UV Curing?
Ultraviolet curing, or UV curing, is a process that uses ultraviolet light to quickly dry specially formulated materials applied to a substrate. An example of UV curing would be the high gloss finish found on a guitar, cars, or some pieces of furniture. The advantage UV has is that it dries quickly to a durable finish.
The process began in the printing industry. Manufacturers have applied UV curable finishes for many years, and recently, commercial finishers have begun using the process to finish counter tops, flooring, and decorative concrete. We even have some customers who are artists and dry glue and coatings for special applications.
